Insight School of Wisconsin released its schedule of information sessions for the Wisconsin Open Enrollment Period beginning February 5th through February 23rd. The Insight team will be holding sessions in 29 different locations throughout Wisconsin during the Open Enrollment Period to speak with Wisconsin families about the school.

Insight School of Wisconsin is a full-time, diploma granting, online public high school tuition free for Wisconsin residents. Insight is educating a broad group of high-school-age youth, who, for a variety of reasons, need an alternative to the traditional high school experience.

During information sessions which are open to the public and free, Wisconsin teens and parents can ask detailed questions around the school’s approach, its curriculum, how it works, and how it’s different from other options.

Insight School of Wisconsin is a full-time, diploma-granting, online public high school authorized by the Grantsburg School District. Students from around the state of Wisconsin are eligible to enroll and tuition is free for Wisconsin residents. Full-time students are provided with a laptop, printer, internet stipend and Wisconsin-certified instructional support. The school is made possible through partnership between Insight Schools, Inc. and the Grantsburg School District.

The Grantsburg Board of Education voted unanimously to authorize the formation of an online charter high school in partnership with Insight Schools that will serve students across the state of Wisconsin, aged 14-20. The school will provide an alternative academic approach and learning environment, which will be flexible to meet the schedule of today’s students.

The formation of the school – the Insight School of Wisconsin – is the natural progression of the district’s success in using technology in education to serve Wisconsin students. Students in the district’s current school, the Grantsburg Virtual School, which has successfully been serving dozens of Wisconsin teens for years, will now have the option to enroll in the Insight School of Wisconsin. They’ll continue to enjoy the benefits of earning their diploma online supported by a school mentor. In addition, they’ll receive access to an Insight course catalog of close to 130+ courses with six academic tracks, receive a school-issued laptop computer with wireless card, printer and internet stipend, and benefit from a individual learning plan tailored to their abilities, interests, and goals.
